Plant tissue culture has worked the same way for decades. The science is well understood, but the systems around it were built for laboratory craft, not for the volumes propagation now requires.

NXT has done the work to bridge that gap. By redesigning the biology to work with automation — rather than asking automation to keep up with the biology — we have built a platform that scales tissue culture using methods operators will recognise.

Most automation attempts in tissue culture try to retrofit robots onto manual processes. The result is faster manual work, not scalable production.
